WISAD 2010: Workshop on Imperfect Information in Software Architecture Design 2010

Call for Papers

Prospective participants are invited to submit a 3-8 page position paper in standard ACM SIG Proceedings format (http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates). All papers must be submitted in PDF format.

All submissions will be reviewed by members of the program committee and the organising committee for quality and relevance to ECSA. Each paper will be reviewed by at least 3 reviewers. Accepted papers will be published in a second volume of the conference proceedings with ISBN number and through ACM digital library (approval pending).

The topics of the workshops include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Identification of imperfect information, such as conflicts, ambiguities, vagueness and uncertainty
  • Models for imperfect information in architecture design
  • Management of imperfect information throughout the software lifecycle
  • Methods and tools for design with imperfect requirements
  • Maintenance and traceability of imperfect information
  • Imperfect information in non-functional requirements and quality issues
  • Imperfect information in prioritization and decision-making processes
  • Extensions of existing approaches with support for handling models for imperfect information
  • Visualisation of imperfect information in software architecture design
