  abstract: "According to a study carried out by one of the authors at the County Clinical Emergency Hospital in Arad, over 40% of the accidents resulting in femur fracture take place on roads and highways. This work briefly presents these results, and on the basis of bibliographical data regarding the mechanical behavior of bones and the classification of femur fractures occurring in expert literature, a  simulation program of these fractures in the case of car accidents. The aim of the program is to determine the pressure at which the femur is fractured in different conditions of mass and speed of the vehicle, braking distance, age of the victim, femur size, etc. The use of this program represents an exemplification method, as an alternative to direct expertise at the site. "
