SEAA 2014: ********** The Euromicro Conference series on Software Engineering and Advanced Applications (SEAA) is a long-standing international forum for researchers, practitioners from business and industry, and students to present and discuss the latest innovations, trends, experiences, and concerns in the field of Software Engineering and Advanced Applications in information technology for software-intensive systems.

• Software Management (SM)
• Embedded Software Engineering (ESE)
• Cloud Software (CS)
• Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)

SPECIAL SESSIONS include:

• SPLSeco: Software Product Lines and Software Ecosystems (inside the MOCS track)
• EsPreSSE: Estimation and Prediction in Software & Systems Engineering (inside the SM track)
• MeSVAM: Measurement as a Strategy for Software Value Management (inside the SPPI track)
• TET-DEC: Teaching, Education and Training for Dependable Embedded and Cyberphysical Systems (inside the ESE track)

SEAA 2014 encourages the submission of research papers (4-8 pages), experience reports (4-8 pages), tool demonstrations (2 pages+poster (optional)), and posters (1 page+poster(mandatory)). Papers must contain original unpublished work, describe significant novel contributions, and provide evidence on the validation of results. In particular, reports on industrial applications are welcome. Please find details on the two new categories tool demo paper and poster paper on the SEAA 2014 homepage.

IEEE Computer Society Press will publish accepted papers in the conference proceedings and the IEEE Xplore Digital library.

Authors of best papers will be invited to revise and re-submit extended versions of their papers for publication in the Elsevier Information and Software Technology Journal: http://www.journals.elsevier.com/information-and-software-technology/).

The SEAA conference will also provide best papers awards.
