I am a PhD candidate in the Computer-Human Interaction Software Engineering Lab (CHISEL) at the University of Victoria, Canada, since September 2007. My supervisor is Dr. Margaret-Anne Storey. I received a Masters degree in Computer Science (Diplom-Informatiker) at RWTH Aachen University, Germany, in February 2007.
For my PhD, I am researching user interfaces supporting information visualization novices in visualization construction and coordination. My other areas of interest are information visualization for the masses and in general, visual analytics, human-computer interaction, end user development and semantic web technologies.
